What SEND consultancy services do we offer to SEN schools?

Our SEND consultancy services are bespoke to the needs of each SEN school we work with. Our SEND consultants work on individual, targeted and whole school levels. Our consultants come from a range of education and health backgrounds in order to support all areas of need within a school.

How do we work on an individual level?

Working on an individual level within SEN schools promotes the use of EHP's multidisciplinary team when making recommendations for individual children according to their unique needs. An example of individual level work our SEND consultants carry out is designing a personalised programme for a child.

How do we work on a targeted level?

Working on a targeted level in a SEN school differs in some ways to mainstream schools, as there is a higher level of need for bespoke targeted work. A targeted approach to SEND consultancy is flexible to the needs within the school, and may include:

• Designing a bespoke group intervention programme
• Working with parents and carers
• Increasing provision for a specific area of need

Our SEND consultants can work on an identified targeted area in addition to identifying the needs of a setting. Targeted work within a SEN school can relate to a particular class, year group, key stage, young people with similar needs or parents and carers.

How do we work on a whole school level?

Our SEND consultants provide a broad range of services on a whole school level to SEN schools. Using specialist knowledge and experience, our SEND consultants promote positive systemic change within schools to help children maximise their potential. Examples of whole school work we provide includes:
