Clinical commissioning groups (CCGs)

We provide specialist services to clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) on a standalone and ongoing basis.

What services do we provide to clinical commissioning groups (CCGs)?

The most common service we provide to CCGs are the following health services:

Many of our professionals have experience working within CCGs and the NHS.

How do we work with CCGs?

We work closely with CCGs to provide services which complement existing assessment or treatment plans. Our open referral policy means that we can see children and young people immediately with all levels of need.

How can CCGs commission our services?

Commissioning our services can be done on a standalone basis and through an ongoing service level agreement. All of our health services can be commissioned under one agreement, making co-ordination and communication streamlined.

How can CCGs refer to our specialist education and health services?

CCGs and individual health professionals can refer to our specialist education and health services for individuals and for a group of service users, depending on need. To make a referral or to find out more please email office@ehp.org.uk or call 0330 088 8408.

What are the benefits of using EHP?

CCGs can enjoy a broad range of benefits using EHP as we have:

  • A co-ordinated and joined-up approach to support
  • A variety of clinic spaces and facilities
  • An easy referral and commissioning process
  • A multidisciplinary team
  • Experience of CCGs

Which children and young people do we work with?

We work with all children and young people, aged 0-25, and all levels of special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).

Where do our services take place?

Our services can take place within one of our accessible clinics, or within your CCG if more convenient. There may be occasions when specialist facilities are required, such as a hydrotherapy pool, and we have access to this.

When would CCGs require input from EHP?

There are various occasions when a CCG would require input from EHP, the main occasion being when multiple professionals are required for an individual case. EHP would be required due to the ease in which co-ordinating and communicating between professionals is within our team.

CCGs and health professionals can commission and refer to EHP to use our specialist multidisciplinary education and health team. We work with all areas and levels of SEND. To find out more please email office@ehp.org.uk or call 0330 088 8408.
